My name is Taylor and I’m an Austin native. I have always been interested in working with my hands, starting as a young teen wrenching on cars, then later as a bartender in Chicago during my 20’s. When we were 30, my wife and I bought a 100-year-old building in Chicago. At this point I took a deep dive into general carpentry, home maintenance and rehab. Since moving back to Austin, I’ve been immersed in the local carpentry scene for 10 years. Now I’m looking to focus all the skills I’ve accumulated into a tidy little North Austin business.
I enjoy problem solving and the often-necessary engineering that needs to be done around a house. Indeed, I see my family’s home as a constantly evolving project.
I will always respect my clients’ homes and belongings. If it needs a permit or is beyond my scope, I’ll do my best to recommend a licensed pro in the necessary field.
